San Diego, CA – The 60,000-member California Chapter of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiLUNA) has endorsed Scott Peters in the race for the new 52^nd congressional district. LiLUNA, which describes itself as “the fastest-growing union of construction workers, and one of the most diverse and effective unions representing public service employees” is the latest in a long list of organizations that represent working families to back Peters over the other Democrat in this race.

 “We honor your commitment to fairness and truth as you seek to represent the interests of our communities, our Union, and all the working men, women and families,” said Rocco Davis, Vice President at Large and Pacific Southwest Regional Manager in a letter to Peters.
